Folkcraft has been building mountain and hammered dulcimers for decades, alongside the strings, cases and parts that keep them playing. The kind of catalogue that exists nowhere else because almost nobody else makes these.
Our steel wire is used for stringing up a hammered dulcimer or a psaltery. You will find our wire/string to be of the highest quality, giving your instrument the tone and clarity that you deserve to hear.

This beautiful rosette pattern is a tight pattern shield cross. This rosette, made of maple, may be used for hammered dulcimers, psalteries, and other instruments to add beauty and texture to your instrument.
